In addition to translating German texts into English, I am also open to editing and proofreading English texts and translations that were automatically generated English texts.

If someone has a specific document, not in German, but in French, Italian, Spanish, etc., and prefers to translate this document themselves from French, Italian, or Spanish, etc. into English and then send this English text to me, I will edit and proofread it.

However, if this specific document is in German, we suggest that we first translate this document for you into English and then edit and proofread the English translated text so that you receive both an editing and proofreading of your English text and a translation of your document at the same time. 

What Does the Effective Editing and Proofreading of an English Text Involve?

The effective editing and proofreading of an English text written by a non-native English person, or sometimes machine-translated into English from another language besides German (for example, translated from French, Italian, Spanish, etc. into English) involves careful scrutiny of the client's English text by me to ensure that their English text is accurately written and clear.

When editing and proofreading a client's English text, I check grammar, spelling and sentence punctuation, word order, word choice (vocabulary), clarity, and eliminates typing and other errors. In this way, clients obtain high-quality English texts that communicate their ideas, information, and messages very well.

Costs

The costs for editing and proofreading an English text is CHF 0.08 per word. Our computer automatically counts the exact number of words in any English text sent to us in a Microsoft WORD document. The minimum fee for editing and proofreading any English text is CHF 100.

I carry out all commissions personally. There is usually little or no waiting time.
