Bruce Turner

Bruce is an experienced, independent translator of German texts into English and an experienced proofreader and corrector of English texts.

His native (mother) language is English. He grew up in Michigan, USA. He studied electrical and electronic engineering at Michigan Technological University and aerospace operations management at the University of Southern California. He worked briefly as an electronic engineer for high-frequency radio communication systems for the US government in Germany, then studied German, economics, and business administration at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. His second language is German, which he has been speaking, writing, and using for many years. He also speaks some French.

In Switzerland, Bruce worked as an English translator of technical documents which were written in German, then also as a project manager, a lecturer of business, management, and project management at a Swiss technical university (Fachhochschule) and at Swiss business and technical schools. He has also worked as an independent project management trainer and coach, and has continued to work as an independent German-to-English translator and English proofreader for individuals and companies.
